Key Responsibilities

• Brief field volunteers on assignments, headcounts, boundaries, and escalation routes.
• Monitor group transitions and coordinate coverage with the camp lead.
• Report incidents promptly and document changes to the staffing plan.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience guiding young people or coordinating youth programs, with inclusive communication.
• Willingness to follow approved supervision, privacy, and incident procedures.

Volunteer Requirements

• Complete the volunteer application and any requested follow-up conversation.
• Follow Cougs 4 Kids privacy, safety, inclusion, and youth-protection expectations.
• Complete the volunteer enrollment form, consented background screening, orientation, and assigned role training before placement. Youth contact and system access require documented clearance and authorization.
• Communicate availability, questions, and concerns early.
