Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the event safety checklist and brief staff on the approved incident route.
- Coordinate first-aid coverage and escalate emergencies to qualified responders and program leadership.
- Document incidents in the approved restricted system and follow up on corrective actions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant safety or wellness experience; qualifications verified before specialized tasks.
- Calm judgment, confidentiality, and use of the approved incident escalation route.
Volunteer Requirements
- Complete the volunteer application and any requested follow-up conversation.
- Follow Cougs 4 Kids privacy, safety, inclusion, and youth-protection expectations.
- Complete the volunteer enrollment form, consented background screening, orientation, and assigned role training before placement. Youth contact and system access require documented clearance and authorization.
- Communicate availability, questions, and concerns early.
