Cougs 4 Kids, an initiative of Believe in Me, connects WSU alumni, student-athletes, and volunteers to programs that help marginalized youth build confidence, character, community, and opportunity.
Role Overview
Build sponsor and donor support that expands Camp Coug resources and opportunities for youth. Weekly virtual planning and in-person participation at assigned events are expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Research sponsors, donors, and in-kind partners.
- Prepare outreach and sponsorship materials.
- Track commitments, recognition, and stewardship.
Qualifications
- Fundraising, sales, or donor-relations experience.
- Persuasive communication.
- CRM or tracking-system comfort.
Volunteer Requirements
- One-year commitment and at least 10 hours per month.
- Orientation, background check, and youth-safety steps.
- Valid driver’s license and occasional travel.
- Required trauma-informed, cultural-sensitivity, DEI, resilient-youth, and mentorship training.
